Meet Dionne

Dionne Wallace Oakley

Author Dionne Wallace Oakley grew up, never strayed and remain active in church. Over the years, she has led a singles ministry, served as a bible study teacher, an usher, a choir member and co-founded a marriage ministry. 

Dionne believes we are all more than meets the eye, and God has given each of us potential and gifts that aren't always obvious, even to us. As a natural motivator and positive force, Dionne organically encourages and inspires others to be the very best they can be. 

That "inspiration" led Dionne to become the founder of "Shapes For You" (S4U). S4U serves as an avenue to spread the word of God through Books, Career Conversations, Speaking Engagements and as a day to day "servant leader." She believes we can learn more about His will for each of us as our lives take shape every day, and when we are willing to humbly grow in relationship with Him. 

Dionne is the author of "Circles…Moving to the Spaces God Has for You" and "Squares…a Box of Nuggets to Prepare for Your Quantum Leap."

She is a graduate of Towson University with a Master’s in Human Resources Development, with an emphasis on Psychology. She is also a graduate of Delaware State University where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and Business.

Dionne’s professional career spans more than three decades across three fortune 500 organizations where she served as an individual contributor early in her career. She has experience across several business units, multiple leadership roles, including serving in the C-Suite as an Executive with an emphasis on Human Capital. Dionne most enjoys spending quality time with her husband, best friend and soulmate Gerald. She also enjoys serving in her church, community and visiting with family and friends. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.
